Since March 17th, 2020, I working from home for helping stop covid-19 spreads, it’s not new thing for me, even at office I often working remotely configuring or setup things at server, checking router, firewall, just to make sure everything was ok.

For working from home, there are many tool will needed, such as Putty, winscp, cloud storage, proxy, and vpn.

  • Putty, for connecting to remote machine via SSH.
  • Winscp, for transfering file via SFTP (SSH).
  • Cloud storage (all my file related to my work n office saved here).
  • Proxy, http/https proxy for connecting to LAN at office, preparation if someone need access services that only available from office’s LAN, such as ICAMS.
  • VPN, secure private network for connecting to head office services.
  • Kaizala attendence (log my present from home, we are not yet in trust with others, even in this pandemi situation).

I use Raspberry Pi 3 as client, this small machine was setup connected to my office, whick i can check router was up, server was OK, even just make sure absent machine working properly from this small machine.

Even work from home was fun, I hope covid-19 resolved quickly, stay safe everyone.
